Jacob Watson is a filmmaker and photographer based in New York City.
He currently is a freelance videographer and camera assistant, shooting events, documentaries, and social content. He has previously worked in the accounting department for the second season of Dark Matter (Apple TV) and Love and Death (HBO).
He loves working in fast-paced settings and enjoys mining intriguing and moving stories from the real world. His recent short docs have been archival explorations of Mexican history and culture.
When he isn’t working hard on his next project, Jacob likes to play the card game Magic: the Gathering and browse used bookstores for old paperbacks.
Jacob graduated from New York University with a bachelors in film and television.
